Akiko Yamashita is a Japanese artist best known for projection mapping and light installations, currently based in Los Angeles. Her artworks explore visual illusions created with 3D animation inspired by patterns and movements in nature and the full spectrum of prism colors. Alfred Sit Wing-hang, JP

Mr Alfred Sit joined the Government as Assistant Electrical and Mechanical Engineer in 1984 and was promoted to Chief Electrical and Mechanical Engineer in 2001, to Government Electrical and Mechanical Engineer in 2007, to Deputy Director of Electrical and Mechanical Services in 2011. He was Director of Electrical and Mechanical Services and Electrical and Mechanical Services Trading Fund General Manager since October 2017. On 22 April 2020, Mr Sit was appointed Secretary for Innovation and Technology.

Mr Sit is an electrical engineer by profession and has over 30 years’ experience in public administration. He is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers. He was the President of the Hong Kong Institution of Facility Management and Chairman of the Biomedical Division of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers.

Mr Sit holds the Associateship in Electrical Engineering from the Hong Kong Polytechnic and a master degree in Business Administration from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has also attended the Harvard Business School.

Andrew Lo

Mr. Lo Ching Leung Andrew, is the Chief Executive Officer and executive director of the Crystal International Group Limited (listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange, stock code: 2232), one of the world largest apparel manufacturers. Carrie is an International Manager at HSBC and has worked internationally with the bank throughout her career. Cindy Chow

Cindy Chow has been the Executive Director of the Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund since 2015. David Siegel is a computer scientist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Gary Liu

Gary Liu is CEO of the South China Morning Post, a global news media company that has reported on China and Asia for more than a century. Gary was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2019.

Prior to joining the SCMP in January 2017, Gary was CEO of Digg, spearheading the New York startup’s transformation from aggregator to a data-driven news platform. Previously, Gary was Head of Labs at Spotify, after joining the company as Global Director of Ad Product Strategy. Gary has also worked at AOL and Google.

Joe Tsai

Joe Tsai joined our company in 1999 as one of our 18 founders. He served as our chief financial officer until May 2013 and is currently the executive vice chairman of the company. Joe oversees Alibaba's strategic acquisitions and investments. Johnny Chan

Mr Johnny Chan is the Chief Investment Officer of Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited and is mainly responsible for managing the Cyberport Macro Fund. He leads the investment strategies and all aspect of the Fund’s developments. He also oversees the relationship management and development of the Cyberport Investor Network (CIN). He was a member of the Cyberport Advisory Panel until September 2018.

Possessing 35 years of experience in the banking and investment fields, Mr Chan had held various senior-level positions previously. He is the CIO of Softech Investment Management, which has been the manager of the Government’s Applied Research Fund since 2000. Kenny Lam

Kenny is CEO for Two Sigma Asia-Pacific. Two Sigma is one of the world’s largest systematic investment firms with AUM of about USD 60 billion. Prior to joining Two Sigma, Kenny was Group President of Noah Holdings Limited (NYSE: Noah). Noah is China’s largest independent wealth manager, having advised on over USD 85 billion in allocation of assets for the nation’s high net worth individuals and leading institutions.

Prior to Noah, Kenny was Global Senior Partner of McKinsey & Company, as a co-leader of its Asia Financial Institutional Practice serving leading financial institutions in 13 markets in Asia. He was one of the fastest rising partners of McKinsey in Asia when elected a Global Partner six years after he joined McKinsey. He was Chairman of McKinsey’s Evaluation Committee in Greater China. LeiMing Chen

Mr. Leiming Chen serves as Senior Vice President of Ant Group, responsible for International Public Policy and Government Affairs. Nelson Chow

Mr Nelson Chow has been appointed to the present position from 1 September 2016 with responsibilities for facilitating the healthy development of the fintech ecosystem in Hong Kong and promoting Hong Kong as a fintech hub in Asia. He joined the HKMA in 2004 and was responsible for the supervision of banks’ technology risk management and business continuity planning as well as the formulation of related policies and guidelines. He was the Deputy Chief Representative of the New York Office in 2010. After returning to Hong Kong in 2013, he took up responsibilities to supervise banks’ operational risk management and perform macro-prudential data analysis. Prior to joining the HKMA, Mr Chow was a Vice President of JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. responsible for information risk management of the Asia Pacific region.

Nicolas Aguzin

Nicolas Aguzin joined HKEX as Chief Executive Officer on 24 May 2021 from J.P. Morgan, where he was most recently Chief Executive Officer of J.P. Morgan’s International Private Bank. Mr Aguzin has been based in Hong Kong since 2012.

From 2013 to 2020, Mr Aguzin was CEO, J.P. Morgan, Asia Pacific where he was responsible for all the firm’s business across 17 markets. Mr Aguzin presided over some of the firm’s major expansion efforts during the period, including establishing itself in China as one of the few international financial institutions with a full range of services and capabilities; including a fully-owned locally incorporated commercial bank, a majority-owned securities company, an asset management company and a futures and options company. Concurrent with his Asia CEO role, Mr Aguzin also ran J.P. Morgan’s Investment Banking division in Asia. During his tenure the bank rose to become one of the leading investment banks in the Asia Pacific region.

Mr Aguzin joined J.P. Morgan in 1990 in Buenos Aires as a financial analyst. Between 1990 and 2005, he held a variety of roles in New York and Buenos Aires, and in 2005 he was appointed as CEO, Latin America. In 2008 and 2009, in addition to his responsibilities as CEO, Latin America and Head of Latin America Investment Banking, he served as Senior Country Officer for Brazil.

Mr Aguzin holds a bachelor degree in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in the US and is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English.

He is a current member of the Financial Reporting Valuation Panel which acts in an advisory capacity to the Financial Reporting Standards Committee (“FRSC”) of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“HKICPA”) on financial reporting related valuation and present Secretary (and former President) of the American Society of Appraisers Hong Kong Chapter.

Yat began his career at Atari Germany in 1990. In 1995 he moved to Hong Kong to establish Hong Kong Cybercity/Freenation, the first Asian free web page and email provider. He sold Outblaze’s services business to IBM in 2009, and pivoted Outblaze to become a conglomerate specializing on cloud, AI, blockchain, and mobile software.

Akiko Yamashita is a Japanese artist best known for projection mapping and light installations, currently based in Los Angeles. Her artworks explore visual illusions created with 3D animation inspired by patterns and movements in nature and the full spectrum of prism colors. Often her works transform physical objects or space into another dimension with animated lights.

Yamashita enjoys working with music, fashion and architecture providing solutions to light up the environment. Her light hallway Portal (2015) won A’Design Silver Awards. Interactive flower projection Hana Fubuki (2019) was exhibited in the Main Gallery at Artechouse DC as a part of In Peaks Bloom exhibition. Charles Lai

Charles Lai is a British Architect and researcher in the history and conservation of Hong Kong and Asian modern architecture. He received his PhD degree in architectural history from the University of Hong Kong Department of Architecture, and a diploma degree from the AA School of Architecture in London. He currently teaches at PolyU and HKU Space. Charles is also a member of the DOCOMOMO HK Chapter.

Charles is currently a partner of the architectural studio aona and co-founder of a digital marketing and experience curatorial company Culture Lab. and focuses primarily on research and curatorial works. Charles also writes regularly for academic journals and columns. His research interests include the history of modern architecture in East and Southeast Asia, the material culture and history of Shanghai plaster, as well as the conservation of historical built heritages. Based in Hong Kong, Taiwanese-American born Jonathan Jay Lee graduated with Departmental Honors in Illustration from Parsons School of Design. Kelvin is Co-Founder and CEO at PONS.ai, an AI-powered Web 3.0 Art Tech startup.

Before founding PONS.ai, his international career has spanned across incredibly diverse industries: management consulting, investment banking, rock music and neuroscience. At the age of 25, he operated in strategy & operations along with the founders and CEO at Flashbay—overseeing 800 employees globally. Prior, he was an Associate at a Boston Consulting Group (BCG) company, Expand; FinTech Strategy Project Consultant at Deutsche Börse; and worked in equity derivatives at Bank of China International (BOCI).

Kelvin holds a BSc in Neuroscience from UCL, where he was supervised by the pioneering neuroscientist and founder of neuroaesthetics, Prof. Semir Zeki. He also holds a CEMS Master's double-degree in International Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and Università Bocconi in Milan, Italy.

Since 2015, Kelvin has had an interest in AI and blockchain and is a self-taught programmer in both javascript and python. Whilst a student, he co-founded and sang for PANDORA, an award-winning Hong Kong alternative rock band.

Kong Kee

Kongkee is an award-winning animation director and comic artist based in Hong Kong. In recent years, he has been advocating a “Hong Kong Punk” sci-fi art style that is well received by the public.

He is a co-founder of Penguin Lab, an animation studio established since 2008. In 2015, in collaboration with the legendary Britpop group Blur, Kongkee created the comic book “Travel to Hong Kong with Blur” for the group’s album "The Magic Whip", which became a big hit in the art and music scene. “Comics Detournements: La littérature de Hong Kong en bande dessinée” (co-authored with Chihoi) also won wide acclaim in the international literary arts circle. Original comic and animation short “Dragon’s Delusion: Preface” received the Japanese TBS channel “22nd DigiCon6 Asia Grand Prize” in 2020. His most recent work “Flower in the Mirror”, an animation video installation, has been commissioned and is currently on view at the M+ Museum.
